Katrina (Jenna) Wilson, born in 1966, is a native to Vermont. She grew up with the consistent influence of her father, William B. Jenna Sr., and his wonderful pencil drawings. She was surrounded by art books and greatly influenced and supported by her art teachers in elementary, middle and high school. Katrina herself has created commissioned pencil drawings and watercolors for friends and acquaintances that have seen her work and loved it. Katrina received her Associates Degree in Fine Art from Greenfield Community College in June of 2000. Some of her favorite studies were Figure Drawing, Anatomy, Painting I and II as well as Modern Dance.
Katrina’s favored subjects are people with nature elements, pencil drawn and painting with oil on canvas and watercolor on paper. She has a fascination with bodies and relationships, whether the relationships are with other bodies, nature, light or fabric.
