I am committed to tell a story of “Life Choices” through the medium of oil on canvas. “Life Choices” will consists of 18 panels approximately 36” X 60”; they will be built and prepared under the guidance of T. Budge Hyde of Greenfield, MA. This project will begin September 1, 2009 and will be completed by August 31, 2010. Every two panels painted will be in contrast to each other. The story will flow as follows: LIFE CHOICES Home birth vs. Hospital birth Nursing vs. Bottle Feeding Home school vs. Institutionalized Education Homemade/ local/ Natural Toys vs. Computer Games/ TV/ Factory made Toys Homemade/ Natural Clothes vs. Factory made synthetic Clothes Homegrown Organic Gardens vs. Mass Production/ Pesticide Gardens Self-Propelled transportation vs. Transportation dependant on Fossil Fuels Building Green vs. Inefficient Toxic Building Home Death/ Burial vs. Institutionalized Death/ Burial These works will be created into posters and a slide show for the organization called “Post Oil Solutions”. The theme on the surface is living simply, locally and in balance with nature. The underlying theme is that this world is what we make it. Every time we make a decision or spend a dollar we are voting on how we want our world to be. You can view my resume, budget, and bio by clicking on the item your interested in viewing.
